ST. LUCIA – Juliana Auguste-Day

This video clip of Juliana Auguste was taken from an interview by Pat Paccassi in 1994-5 during a trip through the islands recording memories from the formation stage of the Baha’i Faith in our area.

Juliana learned of the Faith and joined at the age of 12. She was an active devoted Baha’i for many years. Her services to the Faith include being a Baha’i teacher, traveling to other Caribbean Islands as a representative of the Faith as well as being the Baha’i representative on the National Council of Women of St Lucia. She was also the first St Lucian to be appointed as an Auxiliary Board Member by the Continental Board of Counsellors for the Americas.

In this clip she shares her insights as to how the early Baha’i Children’s Classes were able to steer and sustain her through the pressures and dangers of the “teen-years”.
